Never a dull moment with the Steel Brothers!

Please note that you need to read this series in order: Craving, Obsession, Possession, Melt, Burn and then Surrender (Shattered and Twisted come out this year as well).
We continue this journey with Jonah Steel, the oldest of the Steel Brothers, and Melanie Carmichael, who was Talon's therapist when the series began. We pick up where we left off in Burn, Jonah still feels responsible for unthinkable things that happened when they were kids. His mission is to continue looking for the men that have caused turmoil and strife to his family. More mysteries are unraveled, some questions are answered that cause you to be in shock and say "WHAT?" How did I not see that coming. That is the beauty of this series. All of the brothers play a role in this series, you can't have one without the other they are all connected.
Helen is a master at twists, turns and keeping you coming back for more. The sexy moments are nothing short of hot and erotic! Whew, let me fan myself. This entire series is well worth the investment. It's so much fun to try and figure out where Helen is going with the story. Just when you think you've got it all figured out, she throws a wrench into your theory.
This story has it all; romance, passion, suspense, redemption. The cliffhangers will have you on the edge of your seat, but it's worth every moment as you try to untangle the web of deceit and cover-ups. More secrets are revealed, but knowing this roller coaster isn't over is half the fun!

Hot, Steamy & Suspenseful

This is the sixth book in the Steel Brothers Saga and they just keep getting better and better. Just when I think I have the mystery figured out Helen Hardt gives her readers another clue to decipher.
This installment of the saga is still focused on Jonah and Melanie as the key love story while the mystery still plays out in the background.
When we last left Jonah and Melanie he had confessed a secret to her that he was sure would tear them apart. He decided he would leave her before she had a chance to leave him and goes off to track down a lead on one of Talon’s abductors.
Melanie decides to fight for her relationship with Jonah and when he comes back safe from tracking down the lead she makes him realize that what they have is worth fighting for.
At every turn the mystery of Talon’s abduction gets deeper and deeper putting the Steel family and the ones they love in danger. Will Melanie and Jonah be able to have their happily ever after or will the danger lurking in every corner catch up to them?
I love each of these books and then get to the end and find another cliff hanger and it makes me want the next on even more. Helen Hardt has an amazing talent of creating a gripping mystery laced with some very hot love scenes. To me it makes the loves scenes that much hotter knowing the story behind the characters and the fact that they care for each other so much. These Steel men really know how to treat their women!
I give this book 5 stars and can’t wait for the next installment!

Surrender is book six in the Steel Brothers series, and it is not a standalone! You must read the previous five books to understand this book. This book concludes Jonah and Melanie's love story, however there are at least two more books to come. I love the way Helen Hardt writes as she pulls me into her books so that everything else disappears. Her character development is phenomenal, and both Jonah and Melanie have grown so much in the past books. I especially love how Melanie gets confidence in herself and in her love for Jonah, and how Jonah finally feels he is deserving of this love. We get answers to some mysteries and questions, and we get more questions and mysteries. We get to see Talon and Jade, plus Ryan and Marjorie. As with the other books, there are twists and turns, and some WTF moments which make this book so damn fantastic. And of course it has a cliffhanger from the Queen and Supreme Ruler of cliffhangers! As Melanie and Jonah become closer, they both explore Jonah's dominant style and oh what a fantastic dominant side he has!!! The love is extremely erotic and steamy. So very pleasurable! I love how Jonah and Melanie are together, and the hot tub scenes are the very best! Those scenes show just how far Melanie has come with her confidence and self worth. I am in love with this series, and I never want it to end! I do want Marjorie to get at least one book for her HEA! Hint Hint.... I will continue to read Helen Hardt's books and hope she keeps writing for a very long time.
